How to Add Data to a PDF
PDF files, or portable document format files, are the creation of software giant Adobe. The files are viewable on a large variety of platforms, and their popularity is evident by the fact that there are more than 250 million PDF files in circulation, as of October 2010. Adobe's Acrobat software allows for the editing and adding of data to PDF files.

Download and install Adobe's Acrobat Pro software. A link to the download page is available in the resources section below.

Launch Acrobat Pro and open the PDF file that will be edited. The file can be opened from the file menu within the Acrobat Pro software.

Click the "Document" button and select the option to "Insert pages."

Choose the file that contains the data you would like to insert into the PDF.

Choose "Before" or "After" from the location menu to decided if the new data will go before or after the current page.

Click "OK" to complete the insertion of the data.

Tips & Warnings
Be sure that you are using Acrobat Pro and not Acrobat Reader as the Reader software is not capable of editing PDF files.
