Enter "regedit" in the field and press "Enter."

Navigate to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\UsbStor" in the left column.

Double-click the "Start" item in the main window. Type "4" in the data value box. Select "Hexadecimal." Click "OK." Close the registry editor.
