How to Print Only in Black & White With Windows

Windows 7 has many printing options.

In Windows 7, you have many printing options. You have the option to print double or single-sided, landscape or portrait, color or black and white. You set the printing preference for your documents in Devices and Printers.

Instructions

1. Click "Start" and then click "Devices and Printers."

2. Right-click the printer you want to use to print only black and white then select "Printing Preferences."

3. Select black-and-white (grayscale) for the print color and click "OK." Everything you print in any application will now be in black and white. If you want to change the option back to what it was previously, go through the steps again and choose a different option.
