How to Reset a BIOS Password on an Acer Travelmate 4502 Laptop
On Acer Travelmate 4502 laptops, the BIOS is the first set of programming that the processor runs at startup. The BIOS defines system settings, conducts hardware tests and tells the system where to look for the operating system. A BIOS password can be set that prevents anyone from booting the computer without the password. The BIOS password can be changed by entering the BIOS settings and entering a new password.
