How to Backup Mirroring Software
Mirroring software replicates software and applications stored to your computer and provides data recovery solutions for computer systems. Create a backup of the mirroring software to ensure it is protected if your computer experiences a malware infection or hard drive crash. Windows includes native utilities to assist you in creating backups for your software programs. Windows recommends using an external hard drive to store the backup, however you can also save a backup to a USB flash drive or burn the backup to a CD or DVD.

Connect the external hard drive to the computer. Or insert the CD or DVD.

Click "Start" and click "Control Panel." Click the "System And Maintenance" icon and click the "Backup And Restore Center."

Click the "Set up backup" link and select the external hard drive in the destination selection window. Click "Next."

Click the "Let Me Choose" option and select the file name of the mirroring software. Click "Next."

Click the "Save settings and run backup" button to create the backup of the mirroring software.
