How to Listen to My MP3 Player Through My Car
With the popularity of the MP3 player, more and more people are opting to buy songs online and load them onto their players, rather than purchase CDs. Since MP3 players are portable, you can take them anywhere, including your car. Listen to your MP3 player's music through your car's stereo system, eliminating the need to bring compact discs on your next road trip. Depending on your car's audio setup, choose one of a few ways to do this.

Plug the transmitter into the MP3 player's headphone jack.

Tune the transmitter to an unused radio frequency, and tune your car radio to the same station.

Tips & Warnings
Choose an FM transmitter that will allow you to broadcast to any FM frequency, instead of one that only allows a few.
You may be able to get an auxiliary-in port installed on your current car stereo. Consult a reputable car stereo installer for information.
If you travel a long distance while using an FM transmitter, the radio station you are using may come into use. You will have to change the station periodically as you move in and out of broadcasting areas.
