Instructions

    • 1

Measure the princess. Depending on how full a skirt you want, you will need at least double the measurement of tulle for a full skirt. There should be enough ribbon to make a large bow.

    • 2

Mark the ribbon. Lay the ribbon flat and mark the measurements on it. The width of the princess should be where the bow ends will start.

    • 3

Cut the tulle into three pieces. The length of pieces will depend on the size of the princess.

    • 4

Lay the tulle onto the inside of the ribbon. Using the glue gun, attach the ribbon to the tulle. Attach one layer of the tulle at a time. You can chose to sew the ribbon to the tulle as an alternative, but the glue gun method works quite well.

    • 5

Decorate the top with the fabric paints and decorations as required.

    • 6

Knot the end of the tulle and lay on the sheet of foam to make a tiara or hat.

    • 7

Roll the foam into a cone shape and either glue or staple the edges of the foam together.

    • 8

Trim the bottom of the cone and decorate as required. Tease tulle out to the hole so that it hangs down.
