How to Disable the Error Correction Mode on a Brother Intellifax 4750E

The Brother Intellifax 4750E has an Error Correction Mode feature that allows the machine to check a fax for integrity as it is in progress. Both the sending and receiving machine must support this feature, have it enabled and have sufficient memory available for it to work. If this feature is interfering with normal fax operations or taking too much of your device's memory, you can disable it from the menu.

Instructions

1. Press "Menu."

2. Press "2." This will be labeled "Fax Options."

3. Press "6." This is labeled "Miscellaneous."

4. Press "5." This is labeled "Error Correction."

5. Press "0" to set its value to off.
