How to Open a Plastic Tie Lock

How to Open a Plastic Tie Lock thumbnail
Plastic tie locks come in a variety of colors and lengths.

Plastic tie locks, also known as zip ties or cable locks, help secure items including zipper pulls on luggage. They cannot be picked like a traditional lock, and they don't require a key. In addition, their thick, plastic construction keeps them from breaking easily. You can purchase plastic tie locks in bulk for a reasonable price. Anything you need to secure, such as loose keys, electrical cables, loose-leaf paper or items you need to attach to a bike or other surface, can be taken care of with one or more plastic tie locks.
