How to Save Email Attachments to OLK

Outlook is an application that allows you to send, receive and organize your email. When you receive an email with an attachment, you will probably want to save the attachment to your computer so you can refer to it at a later time. Your computer creates an Outlook Temporary Folder (OLK) when it sets up Outlook. This folder is the default destination for attached files.

Instructions

    • 1

      Launch your Outlook application.

    • 2

Double-click the email message that contains the attachment that you want to save to the OLK folder.

    • 3

Right-click the file, and choose "Save As." Browse for the OLK folder on your computer in the "Save In" drop-down menu that appears. Type a name for the file in the "Save As" field, and press the "Save" button.
