How to Change a Janome Combi DX from Machine to Overlocker

The Janome Combi DX, also known as the New Home Combi DX, is a sewing machine and serger combination machine. The serger is a two-thread overlock machine. Although both the sewing machine portion and serger portion are simplistic, it makes it easy to switch between sewing and serging without hooking up an extra machine.

  Plug in the Janome Combi DX to a power outlet and turn it on.
- 2
  
  Locate the metal lever on the serger side of the Janome Combi DX.
- 3
  
  Pull the lever down. The Janome Combi DX will swivel around on its base and the overlocker side will be ready for use.
- 4
  
  Pull the lever again to return to the sewing machine side of the Janome Combi DX.
