Power users can upgrade to a more sophisticated email client such as Outlook.

Windows' cost-free email client Outlook Express has enough features for basic email use and management. Advanced users can switch to Microsoft Outlook for more powerful features, such as task scheduling and calendars. Outlook can import mail settings as well as contacts and messages from other email applications, including Outlook Express. Once you have imported your account settings into Outlook, you can also set it as the default email reader. Fortunately, making the switch from Outlook Express to Outlook is not difficult and only takes a few minutes to complete.
