How to Make Windows Mobile Themes
Microsoft offers a large variety of free themes for your Windows Mobile device. You can download different ones, and give your phone a whole new look every few days. Another option is to make themes yourself. Obviously, no one else would have these themes and they'd be your personal creation. This can be accomplished using Microsoft's "Windows Phone Custom Theme Creator", an online software tool for making themes with style, background images and colors of your own choice.

Go to Windows Theme Creator web page (see Resources).

Click the button, "Start the custom theme creator."

Select your handset from the list, for instance "HTC Pure" or "Samsung Intrepid."

Pick a color as well as style for the theme.

Click "Wallpaper your phone."

Click "Upload Image" and choose a specific image from your computer, for making the theme's wallpaper.

Click "Customize image properties", and choose color, size, position, contrast and other effects.

Click "Generate Theme."

Give your theme a unique name.

Click the "Download" button if you wish to download it to the computer. If you want to send it direct to your phone, enter your cell phone number. Microsoft will then send you the theme's download link via SMS. Your carrier will charge you at standard SMS rates for the latter method.

Tips & Warnings
This is Microsoft Silverlight based tool. If you don't already have it installed on your computer, you will be prompted to do so when you open the website. Simply follow the onscreen prompts and it will be installed within a few seconds.
