Google Web Accelerator is a program that employs a variety of techniques to make Web browsing faster. As you browse the Internet using Web Accelerator, the program routes your page requests through dedicated servers on Google's side, compressing the data whenever possible before sending it to your computer. While Google has canceled the Web Accelerator experiment, the servers are still active, and third-party websites continue to host Google Web Accelerator for download.

Browse to a download page for Google Web Accelerator. Click "Download Latest Version" and save the resulting file to the desktop.

Double-click the file "GoogleWebAcceleratorSetup.msi" when the download is complete. Click "Next" when the "Google Web Accelerator Setup" window appears.
