How to Enable the Simulation Option in Nero
Nero Burning ROM is an application for burning CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs. It is compatible with Windows 7, Vista and XP. You might be uncertain about how long it will take to burn a disc or how your optical drive will perform during a burn. If you want to test how a burn will go without actually recording to a blank disc, you can enable the "Simulation" option. That way, if there is a problem, you won't waste a disc that might burn improperly.
