Getting the best audio performance in your 1998 Expedition involves balancing many separate elements, primarily the speakers and receivers. One of the simplest and most cost-effective improvements you can make is to replace the front door speakers in your 1998 Expedition. Owners can easily replace the front door speakers, a common 6-by-8-inch size, with only hand tools and a little time.

Pry up the back edge of the power switch panel on the door panel, using the tip of a panel tool.
