How to Upload a File Maker Pro 9 Advanced Database to a Web Page
The Filemaker Pro 9 Advanced application, which is available for both PC and Mac computers, includes a feature called Instant Web Publishing. Once you have finished designing a database, you can use the Instant Web Publishing service to upload your file to a Web page. After that, other users can log in and work with your database through a Web browser interface.

Launch the Filemaker Pro 9 Advanced application on your computer.

Open the database file that you want to share on a Web page and log in with a full-access account.

Go to the Instant Web Publishing options window. In Windows, open the "Edit" menu, select "Sharing" and then choose "Instant Web Publishing." On a Mac, go to the "File" menu, select Sharing" and then pick "Instant Web Publishing."

Select the "On" radio button at the top of the pop-up window. Once the Instant Web Publishing service has turned on, a "URL" field will appear that gives you the Web address of your Filemaker page.

Make sure that the "All Users" option in the lower-right corner is selected. Otherwise, Filemaker users will be unable to log into the database over the Web.

Press the "OK" button to save the settings.

Open a Web browser and navigate to the URL from Step 4. You will now be able to access your Filemaker database over the Web.
