How to Restore Outlook Reminders
Microsoft Outlook is primarily used as an email program, but it also has an interactive calendar. You can type appointments and events into the calendar and receive a small pop-up "reminder" window when the appointment nears. If you notice that your pop-up reminders do not show up anymore, it's because the feature was turned off at some point. There is a quick fix to restore these reminders so that you do not miss any appointments.

Close Outlook. Click "Start" and then "Run" on your desktop.

Type "cmd" into the box, and press "Enter." A black "Command Prompt" window will load.

Type "outlook.exe /cleanreminders" and press "Enter." Restart your computer.

Open the "Command Prompt" again and type "outlook.exe /cleanfreebusy." Press "Enter." Reboot your computer.

Launch the "Command Prompt." Type "outlook.exe /resetfolders" into it and press "Enter." Restart your PC.
