How to Unlock Yoshi in Super Mario Galaxy

"Super Mario Galaxy" is a third person game where you play as Mario and try to save the galaxy. You are the captain of a spaceship that ventures to different planets collecting stars. Yoshi is a hidden character in the game that you can unlock if you complete a secret quest after you have beaten Bowser.

Instructions

1. Fly to the Good Egg Galaxy and go to the Yoshi Egg Planet. Shoot at least five star bits at every green spot on this planet. Continue on to beat the level.

2. Go to the Space Junk Galaxy and select Yoshi's Unexpected Appearance. Give the Luma 50 star bits to make it transform into a Yoshi planet.

3. Use the Launch Star to get to the new Yoshi planet. Kill all the Goombas by bouncing on them without touching the ground.

4. Use Mario's spin attack to put out the fire coming out of Yoshi's nostrils on this planet.

5. Pick up the egg that appears on Yoshi's nose to receive the star for the level.

6. Go to the Comet Observatory on your spaceship and Yoshi will be there.
