Type a list of words in a word-processing program.

Use a variety of about 100 words taken from the eight parts of speech. This includes nouns, pronouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, conjunctions, prepositions and interjections.

Use 30 nouns, 30 verbs, 15 adjectives, 15 adverbs, five interjections and five conjunctions.

Leave enough space between each word in the word processing document for the words to be cut out.

Print a copy of your word list.

Cut your words apart into individual squares.

Cut apart squares of the magnetic sheet. Cut the magnetic squares in the same size as the words you have prepared.

Apply pieces of double sided tape to the back of your words.

Secure the words onto the pieces of magnet and place on an adhesive surface, such as a locker, mirror or refrigerator.
