Microsoft Access Video Tutorial
Microsoft.com offers free online video training courses for Access 2003, 2007 and 2010. Each course provides a video and audio presentation which includes a practice session and a test to find out if you learned the material in the presentation. Each course is broken down into segments. The user can choose to watch the full course or choose just the segment he is interested in.

Access the Microsoft Office Training website (http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/support/training-FX101782702.aspx).

Choose the version of Access 2003, 2007 or 2010 under the version heading you would like to begin learning. For example, if you would like to learn Access 2007, then click "Access 2007" under the "Office 2007 Online Training" heading.

On the Access training page, the different training courses available are displayed down the middle of the page with the chapters of available training courses displayed on the left. Clicking "Access training courses" displays all of the available training courses for that particular version of Access. Click the course you are interested in watching.

Once the Access course page is displayed, you will see information about the course duration, the level of difficulty, the applicable software, the course overview and goals for course completion. The audio begins automatically and will instruct you on what to do next to begin the course. Click "Start this course" to begin.

The course video and audio presentation will begin automatically. At the end of each presentation, click "Next" located at the bottom right of the screen to go to the next page. You will repeat this process for the remainder of the audio and video presentation. If you would like to jump to a different chapter, click on one of the available chapters located on the left of the screen.

Once the training course is complete, you have the option to practice what you've learned. You will need to download and start the practice session on your computer. A practice Access database will download to your computer and open in Access. Make sure you have the appropriate version of Access installed before downloading the practice session. To begin, click the gray "Practice in Access" button to begin the download.

After you have completed the practice session, you can test yourself to see if you have retained the information within the lesson. Microsoft provides an online multiple-choice test. The test results are not scored and the test is private. With each answer chosen, Microsoft will display the correct answer and will provide an explanation if your answer was incorrect.
