A frozen virgin margarita is a refreshing beverage that's easy to prepare. Frozen virgin margaritas mimic the flavor of a regular margarita by substituting some of the ingredients and leaving the alcohol out. Does this Spark an idea?

Things You'll Need

  • Shallow bowl
  • Kosher salt
  • 4 margarita glasses
  • Lime wedges
  • Blender
  • 6 ounces thawed frozen limeade concentrate
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 4 cups ice cubes

Instructions

      Fill the bottom of a shallow dish with kosher salt. Wet the rim of each of the four margarita glasses with a lime wedge. Dip the dampened rims into the bowl of kosher salt, then set the glasses aside.

      Pour the thawed limeade concentrate into the blender. Add 1/2 cup orange juice, followed by 4 cups of ice cubes.

      Place the top tightly on the blender and blend the ingredients for one to two minutes, or until the ice cubes are finely crushed.

Tips & Warnings

  • Substitute lime juice for orange juice and add 12 ounces of non-alcoholic beer for a different twist on your virgin margarita.

  • Add grapefruit juice along with the orange juice for a more sour taste.
