How to Arrange Pokemon Cards

You can arrange Pokemon cards according to their type. These include the energy status ascribed to them, the expansion or the rarity of the card. The basic set included 102 cards. Since then, many new editions have appeared; Pokemon Ex and holofoil cards rank as some of the most collectible. After classifying Pokemom cards into different types, you can then place them in clear sleeves to protect them.

Instructions

    • 1

Put Pokemon cards in order according to their energy: grass, fire, water, lightning, psychic, fighting, darkness, metal and colorless. Each has a distinctive color and design association.

    • 2

Organize by trainer cards varieties. These change format in each new edition of the game and include common, uncommon, rare and holofoil cards. You can also find subsets named Holo EX, Rare Holo LV.X and Legend cards.

    • 3

Group cards according to their evolution distinction. Pokemon evolve from baby to basic and then on to stage 1 and 2.

    • 4

Sort cards by expansions; they include the HeartGold, SoulSilver, Platinum, EX and Diamond & Pearl Series.
