How to Change the Webcam Source on MSN

Use a webcam in MSN to video chat.

Before using your webcam in MSN Messenger, also known as Windows Live Messenger, you must set it up with the program. If sometime in the future you want to use a different camera with the program, that camera will not work properly. Fortunately, you can go back into the setup at any time and change the webcam you want to use with the program.

Instructions

1. Open and log-in to Windows Live Messenger.

2. Click the "Show menu" icon and select "Audio and Video Setup."

3. Click "Next" on the first screen.

4. Click the drop-down menu on the "Webcam" screen and change your camera.

5. Click "Finish" to save your selection.
