How to Mount a Medic Pack to a Molle II Pack

The MOLLE II pack was developed for use by soldiers in the field. MOLLE, which stands for Modular Lightweight Load-Carrying Equipment, is built to handle add-ons in the form of different packs, belts and straps. Attaching a Medic Pack to the MOLLE II gives field paramedics access to emergency gear while still transporting other valuable equipment in the main MOLLE II pack. Adding a Medic Pack to the MOLLE II requires fixing the quick clips and straps to both packs. The MOLLE II pack is shaped like a vest, and it is put on much the same way.

Instructions

    • 1

Open the vest of a Medic Pack and set it upside down on a flat surface.

    • 2

Locate the quick clips and nylon straps on the lower right hand side of the vest. Slide the Medic Pack into the housing next to the straps and on top of the small velcro strip. This allows the Medic Pack velcro to attach to the vest/MOLLE II velcro.

    • 3

Connect the female and male ends of the quick clips from the Medic Pack and MOLLE II pack together. Pull the nylon straps through the tightening sleeve to adjust the Medic Pack to the MOLLE II.

    • 4

Attach another Medic Pack to the MOLLE II above the first on the right hand side. Use the quick clips and nylon straps to attach to the MOLLE II in the same way as the first Medic Pack. To attach additional Medic Packs to the MOLLE II, use the attachment points on the left side of the MOLLE II.
