How to Raise Hit Points on Neopets

A Neopet's hit points measure how much endurance the pet has. Players who wish to fight the pet in the Battledome might wish to raise the hit points before battling a competitor. A pet who has a low level of hit points is not able to fight until the endurance is raised. Players can do a variety of tasks and activities to raise a pet's hit points.

Instructions

1. Feed the pet Neggs to raise hit points. Neggs are magical and have various effects on the pets that eat them. Several Neggs will increase a Neopet's endurance and raise hit points including a Cool Negg, Blue Furry Negg and Vortex Negg.

2. Purchase Mystic Mushrooms from the Trading Post. All mushrooms have the ability to raise a pet's hit points. Certain mushrooms, such as the Green Healthshroom, will have a dramatic effect on a pet's endurance.

3. Zap the Neopet with the Lab Ray. One of the abilities that is gained from using the ray is an increase in hit points.The Ray has a limit of one pet per day, so choose wisely.

4. Go to the Training School on Mystery Island. Choose the endurance option for the pet that needs an endurance increase. Note that the school requires Codestones as payment.

5. Complete a Dark Faerie Quest. Quests are random tasks assigned by faeries on the Neopets website. A Dark Faerie Quest reward is having one pet's hit points increased.
