How to Get BlackBerry Messenger 4.5 Back on Your Phone
BlackBerry Messenger is an instant messenger only available to BlackBerry users. Yahoo and MSN messengers are similar to Blackberry Messenger; however, Blackberry Messenger is only available to people who use Blackberry smartphones. Sometimes, the application can be corrupt or deleted for various reasons and need to be re-installed; this is accomplished with a free download using an email associated with the BlackBerry account.

Go to the BlackBerry Messenger page from your BlackBerry or computer. (See References.)

Click "Download BBM Now."

Enter an email address that is associated with the BlackBerry. A link will be emailed to this email address.

Check the email on the BlackBerry that was used in Step 3.

Follow the link to the download site for BlackBerry Messenger.

Download the BlackBerry Messenger file. BlackBerry Messenger will automatically download to the homescreen on the BlackBerry, and it is now ready to use.
