How to Unlock an IBM 380Ed Computer

The IBM 380ed is an older laptop computer. It is durable and sturdy, which is why some people still use it today. Multiple accounts can be signed into it. When you cannot find the password to access the computer, then you will need to recover the password using the free LoginRecovery file program.

• Blank compact disc

Instructions

1. Place the blank CD into a PC.

2. Visit LoginRecovery's website. Type in your e-mail address and click "Download." After installing and opening the program, click the "Create CD" option on the first screen. Remove the completed CD.

3. Slide the newly created CD into the locked computer. The LoginRecovery program will retrieve the password and username files from the computer and send them to your e-mail.

4. Wait 10 minutes. On the working computer, go to your e-mail inbox and open the email from the program's website. Click "REVEAL" to see the passwords for the user accounts.

5. Type in the username and password on the locked computer to open it.

Tips & Warnings

• Make an easily memorable password so you do not forget it.

• Do not use your Social Security number or other personal information for your password.
