How to Place a Flat Screen Over a Stove or Fireplace
In many homes, the fireplace is the center of attention. Thus, it is understandable why so many homeowners choose to mount their flat panels over their fireplaces and, on occasion, stove hearths. Naturally, there are differences between drywall mounting and fireplace installation, mainly with mounting hardware. The constant, however, is ensuring that the TV is securely mounted, and free from excess heat buildup. Does this Spark an idea?

Tips & Warnings
If you find the seating area is too close or the viewing angle causing neck or eye strain, swap the bracket with one that allows a small amount of tilt.
The combined heat from the fireplace or stove plus the heat the set generates often renders it impossible to operate both at the same time.
