Joining the ADJA means you can receive certain benefits while continuing to be your own boss.

The American Disc Jockey Association supports registered DJs throughout the United States. The goal of the organization is promote high-quality business practices and to offer access to certain benefits, such as insurance, that can be difficult to secure if you're self-employed. As an accepted member of the ADJA, you'll be able to use the ADJA logo, view job advertisements, purchase supplies at a discounted price and receive reduced-rate health and business insurance.

      Go to www.adja.org and select the "Apply Now" tab.

      Determine what type of membership you need. The one-year membership choices range in price from $200 to $300 depending on whether you want to register with your local chapter in addition to the national organization. There is also a "Limited Membership" option that offers discounted insurance but no other benefits, discounts or promotional assistance.

      Scroll down to the "First Time Membership" heading and click on the "Apply Now for Membership" option. You will need to reapply for a new membership annually unless you select the three-year plan for $525.

      Provide your contact and business information. The ADJA will use this information for its directory and business listings.

      Confirm your choice of membership plan and provide your payment information. An email confirmation will be sent to your contact email address shortly following your payment.
