How to Edit My Web Search Toolbar Tools

MyWebSearch Toolbar is a "totally customizable toolbar that installs directly onto your Web browser," according to MyWebSearch Help Center. With this toolbar, you can use any of the leading search engines, such as Yahoo!, Google and Ask.com, to surf the web, and It has features like free smileys, cursors, a pop-up blocker, screensaver photos, a search bar and a card gallery. Moreover, you can create customized buttons to serve as bookmarks to your favorite sites. MyWebSearch toolbar only works with Internet Explorer 5.0 or above.



You can edit My Web Search toolbar options to change functions, add and remove buttons, enable and disable features and more.

      Click on the down arrow next to the "MyWebSearch" button.

      Click on "Add/Remove" buttons to add new buttons or remove old ones. To add a button, just click on "Add Button." Click on the down and up arrows to change their order. To remove a button, click on the "X" icon next to the name of the button.

      Click on "Change Search Bar Location" to change the place in which the search bar is located.

      Click on "Enable/Disable Features" to install and/or uninstall the toolbar features.

      Select "Color Buttons Always" for the toolbar buttons to be displayed in color, or to remove the color.

  • You must be 13 or older to use the My Web Search Toolbar.
