How to Find a Salvage Flood Title for a Jeep in Michigan

A salvage title denotes that a vehicle is damaged to the point at which necessary repairs cost more than the value of the vehicle. In Michigan, you must locate the vehicle identification number (VIN) and contact the Michigan Department of State to obtain a vehicle history report to determine if a vehicle has a salvage title. If the car has been rebuilt with spare parts, it is possible to replace a salvage title with a rebuilt title.
