How to Clean Chalky Plastic Lawn Chairs
When your plastic lawn chairs sit outdoors for an extended period of time, you sometimes get left with a chalky white film that rubs off onto clothing, making everyone avoid the chairs. It is important to properly clean the chairs in a way that causes no damage to the plastic, but is effective in removing the chalky residue from the chairs. Rinse off the plastic lawn chairs with your garden hose.

Squirt about 2 tbsp. dish soap and pour 1 cup white vinegar into a cleaning bucket.

Fill the bucket the rest of the way with about 1 gallon water from your garden hose.

Dip a cleaning rag in the mixture and scrub over the plastic lawn chairs. Repeat until all chalky residue is removed.

Rinse the chairs one more time with your garden hose, and allow to air dry.
