How to Track Stolen Cell Phones Using GIS
Cell phones can contain a significant amount of personal information. In addition, they can hold the information of colleagues, friends, and family. When a cell phone is lost or stolen, this information can be in jeopardy. As a precaution, cell phone owners can install a Geographic Information Systems Application (GIS) onto their cell phone. These applications allow the owner to keep track of their cell phone online in real-time.
