Choose which version of Office you are using--2003, 2007 or 2010--and click the name of the software application you would like to begin learning.

    • 3

Choose to view the full training course or just a specific topic. On the course training page, the chapters of available training courses are displayed on the left of the screen.

Click "Start this course" when the course page is displayed. You will see the course duration, the level of difficulty, the course overview and the goals for course completion. The audio begins automatically and will instruct you on what to do next in order to begin the course.

    • 5

Click "Next" at the end of each presentation. The course video and audio presentation will begin automatically. Repeat this process for the remainder of the audio and video presentation.

    • 6

Practice what you've learned during the training course, if you choose to do so. Download and start the practice session on your computer. For example, to begin the practice session for Excel, click the gray "Practice in Excel" button.

    • 7

Test yourself, after completing the practice session, to see if you have retained the information within the lesson. The test is an online multiple choice questionnaire. The test results are private, and the test is not scored. With each answer chosen, the correct answer will be displayed. If you answer incorrectly, you will get an explanation as to why your answer was incorrect.
