How to Add a Music Code Generator to a MySpace Profile
Music on MySpace profiles gives people another way to showcase their personality and tastes. There are methods to select music and music players in preset additions from MySpace, but not all music is available. If you have a favorite song, player or music clip, you can add it to your profile by using a code generator. This allows you to generate a code to add the music to your profile and play it when your profile is viewed.

1
Locate the music file you want to add to your MySpace profile. The song needs to have a specific URL address to load into the code generator so it can locate the file on the Internet and access it. It also can be a music player that has multiple songs loaded into it.

2
Access a code generator template. Find one on code generator sites such as Quackit.com or Code-Generator.net. An Internet search will turn up multiple choices for these. The code generator is a template that you insert the address of your file into. It instructs your MySpace profile to activate and play it when opened.

3
Copy the Web address of the music file you wish to play. Paste it into the code generator template. Most code generator applications will have a box to paste the address into.
-
4
Select any options the code generator gives you, such as the size of the player. When you have the settings the way you want them, click to generate your music code.
-
5
Copy the music code the generator produces.

6
Open your MySpace, then select to edit your profile. Paste the code into your MySpace profile. Add it to the "I'd Like To Meet" section or "About Me" section of your profile editor, depending on where you would like it displayed.

Tips & Warnings
Be sure the music you are accessing is legal to play on your profile. If it is openly played on the Internet and there are not copyright warnings, you should be able to access the files. You are not downloading the music, merely linking to the site that already plays the files.
