How to Choose Different Notification Settings for Incoming Calls on a BlackBerry 8100
The BlackBerry Pearl 8100 includes an extensive call alert application dubbed "Notification Profiles." The app allows you to quickly switch ring tones or message alerts with a few clicks of the trackball. Each notification profile is designed to fit a specific situation. For instance, if you are in a noisy area, you can set your profile to "loud." Or, if you need to be more discreet, you can choose "vibrate" or "quiet."
