How to Manage VNC Options in Ubuntu
Virtual Network Computing (VNC) is a method for viewing a computer's desktop environment over a network. The computer that is accessed over the network must have VNC server software installed. The computer making the connection must have VNC viewer software installed. The Ubuntu Linux comes with a VNC server, called Remote Desktop, installed by default. Ubuntu users can configure the Remote Desktop to allow VNC clients to view or control the desktop. It can also be configured to require a password or user confirmation before allowing the remote user to access the desktop.
