It's important to know who your state representatives and senators are in case you feel the need to contact them and let your voice be heard. Both the House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate provide an online tool for you to look up your state's representatives and senators.

Visit the Senate's official website.

Click the "Choose a state" box.

Select your state. The senators representing your state will appear, with their contact address underneath their name.

Look up your ZIP +4 code by visiting the USPS ZIP +4 look-up website. Fill in the required information such as your address, city and state. Click "Submit." Write down your ZIP +4 code.

Visit the House of Representatives official website.

Enter your ZIP +4 in the provided text box at the top-left corner of the screen, under "Find your Representative."

Click "Go." Your representative will appear on the following page.
