      Make an oatmeal mixture to put on your face. Mix oatmeal and water together just as you would if you planned to eat it for breakfast, without adding sugar or fruit.

      Add honey, yogurt or lemon juice to the oatmeal, depending on the severity of your clogged pores and the sensitivity of your skin. Adding yogurt helps dry up more severe acne or blackhead problem areas. Lemon juice acts as an astringent, drying your skin and tightening your pores. Honey works as a toner to soothe your skin from the harsh oatmeal and other ingredients. The oatmeal works by absorbing the oil in your pores.

      Apply the mixture evenly all over your face and other affected areas such as your shoulders or back. Let the mixture sit on your skin for five to seven minutes.
