How to Troubleshoot an Inaccessible Boot Device on an IBM Thinkpad

Instructions

1. Insert the Windows disc into the system. Restart the computer and press any key to boot from the disc.

2. Select your keyboard, language, and currency options. Press "Repair your computer."

3. Click on the drive containing Windows and press "Next."

4. Click "Command Prompt."

5. Type "bootrec.exe /fixboot" to overwrite your faulty boot files.
