A personalized wedding card can serve as both a card and a gift, depending on the amount of detail you put into it. Instructions

1. Find a website that designs printable and customizable wedding cards. See Resources for some examples.

2. Click "Wedding" to view the site's contents of customizable wedding cards.

3. Click the image of the wedding card you want to customize. You do not have to like everything about the image because you will be able to change it to your liking.

4. Select the images and text you want to place on the front and inside of the card. You may also have the option to customize the back.

5. Type your personalized message in the text area. Your personal message may describe your thoughts on love, well wishes or memorable interactions with the couple. If you are low on ideas and your card has a sample wedding message, consider adding a few of your own words.

6. Open the editing options and customize the style, color and size of the font.

7. Click to preview the fully personalized wedding card.

8. Email or print the wedding card.

• Use your search engine's advanced search feature to filter out the word "invitation" and get more accurate search results.

• If you customize an electronic wedding card, you must insert the name and email address of the recipient in addition to your own information.
