How to Install Antivirus Security Software
Antivirus software limits your computer's vulnerability to viruses. Viruses are transmitted through e-mail attachments, corrupt websites, worms and spyware. If your computer becomes infected by a virus it can lead to slow performance, an unusable computer or even identity theft. Antivirus software is available for purchase at computer retailers and online. Some online antivirus programs offer free versions, such as Trend Micro, Avast and AVG. Just as your health is essential for your performance, so too is your computer's health essential to keep it running at its best. Antivirus software is recommended for any PC with access to the Internet.
