Kiosk mode may be desirable for viewing an image in Internet Explorer.

Internet Explorer may be run in Kiosk mode. This means the title bar, menus, toolbars and status bar are not displayed. Essentially, Internet Explorer runs in full screen mode. Because the usual options are not displayed in Kiosk mode, you may be unsure of how to remove Kiosk mode and return to normal (or default) mode. Windows provides shortcuts for you to accomplish this task.

      Press "Alt" and "F4."

      Click "Start" and type "Internet Explorer" into the "Search" box.

    • 3

      Double-click "Internet Explorer" (located in the "Results List"). Internet Explorer is now open without Kiosk mode.
