How to Troubleshoot a Canadian Springs Water Cooler
The Canadian Springs Company offers bottled water delivery as well as water filtration systems for homes and businesses. A Canadian Springs water cooler consists of a stand that plugs into a local electrical outlet and has taps for hot and cold water that is dispensed from a large bottle of filtered water placed on top of the stand. Though the water cooler should operate well with basic care and maintenance, potential issues can typically be resolved through troubleshooting. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Ensure the water stand is plugged into a grounded power source if the water cooler does not seem to heat or cool the water. If the water does not dispense from the taps, make sure the water bottle is positioned correctly onto the stand so that water can drain into the reservoir. Always remove the cap from the bottle before placing the bottle on the stand.
-
2
Check all mounting, nozzles, lines and connections for vibration if the water cooler is very noisy during operation. Tighten as necessary.
-

3
Shake the water bottle gently if the cold water does not dispense to ensure water is exiting the bottle into the reservoir. If the temperature is very cold, ensure the water is not frozen. Do not keep the water cooler in an area where it is exposed to temperature extremes.
-
4
Ensure the hot water tank switch is "On" if the hot water dispenser does not produce hot water. Pull the hot water dispenser tap open and let water flow, allowing a few minutes for the water to heat.
-
5
Remove the water bottle if the water cooler is leaking. Ensure the water reservoir is not overflowing. If it is, open the cold water dispenser tap to drain the reservoir. Replace with a new bottle of water, as the previous bottle may have had a leak or hole.
