How to Change a Hyperlink Path in PowerPoint

Change a hyperlink path in your PowerPoint presentation.

Changing a hyperlink path in PowerPoint is useful when the previous hyperlink path no longer works, or you simply want to change the destination of the link. This process is made simple by PowerPoint's "Hyperlink" tool. Within a matter of seconds, you'll be able to change or update a hyperlink's path in your PowerPoint presentation.

Instructions

1. Open PowerPoint and load the presentation with the hyperlink path you'd like to change.

2. Select the slide containing the hyperlink path you would like to change.

3. Highlight the hyperlink text. Then click the "Insert" tab and select "Hyperlink."

4. Choose the "Existing File or Webpage" option under the "Link To" heading.

5. Click "Browse the Web." Navigate to the new website you would like the hyperlink path to link to, or simply type the new hyperlink path into this window.

6. Click "OK" when finished and the previous hyperlink path will be replaced.

7. Save your PowerPoint presentation. You have now successfully changed a hyperlink path in PowerPoint.
