Open your Web browser and navigate to the ASUS webpage.

Select the first motherboard you would like to compare from the drop-down menu.

Select the motherboard you wish to compare to your first choice from the drop-down menu. Repeat this process for as many ASUS motherboards as you wish to compare.

Compare the motherboards and see if they are SLI compatible. Motherboards that support an SLI configuration can run two video cards in a parallel system to increase their outputs.

Compare the front side bus speeds of the motherboards. Front side bus speed is the speed at which your processor can communicate with your motherboard. Your computer will process information only at the speed of your motherboard's FSB. Having a lower FSB than the processor on your motherboard can create a speed bottleneck in your system.

Compare the number of available PCI and PCI express slots on the motherboards. The more slots you have, the more cards you can install.
