How to Make Motorola W755 Ringtones

A USB cable is used to connect to Motorola Phone Tools.

Motorola phones make it possible for you to add and edit your own ringtones using music on your computer. Phones like the Motorola W755 give you the opportunity to sync to your computer with a USB cable and utilize the Motorola Phone Tools program. This program lets you add as many ringtone files to your W755 as you would like and edit the tracks in just minutes from your desktop.

Instructions

1. Download and install Motorola Phone Tools on your computer using the Phone Tools USB cable and connect your phone to your computer using the Motorola USB cable. The program will load automatically on your desktop.

2. Click "Customize">"Melody Editor" on the program's homepage and select a song from the drop-down menu in the "Melody Files" window.

3. Click "Crop" in the "Selection" menu and use the arrows under the song simulator to select a portion of your song to use as a ringtone. Click "Play" to preview your selected clip.

4. Click the green checkmark once you approve of your selection and click "Transfer to Phone."

5. Type in a name for your file and click "OK" to transfer the file to your W755.
