How to Get iTunes TV Shows to Sync
TV shows can't be downloaded directly to some Apple devices, but those devices can be synced to a iTunes account. Those shows can be downloaded to iTunes through the Apple iTunes Store. A user just needs to work through the "Devices" menu on a iPod Touch, iPhone or other video compatible Apple device to sync it with iTunes. After the sync, anything on iTunes will play on the other device.

Connect the Apple video device to the computer and wait for iTunes to automatically open. Insert the USB end of the connection cord to the computer and the device end (flat and thin) to the device.

Click the iPod, iPhone, or iPad from the "Devices" menu.

Click the "TV Shows" tab along the top.

Click the "Sync TV Shows" checkbox. Click "Automatically include," then choose the new series link shows you want to automatically sync. Select the "Shows" and "Episodes" you want the sync to apply to.

Click "Apply" and wait for the Apple device to sync with iTunes.
