How to Remove a Zune Device

Zune is a portable media player and a free software application created by Microsoft. Zune software is installed on a computer for playing and organizing audio and video files saved on the Zune media player. Users upload their media files via their Zune media devices to their computers. Zune also connects to Zune Marketplace, where users have access to television shows, podcasts, movies, music and music videos. Newer versions of Zune players have touchscreens for easy navigation. You can remove any Zune device from your computer quickly and easily.

Instructions

1. Click "Device," "Status" and the name of Zune device to select the Zune device you want to remove.

2. Click "Settings," Device" and "Sync Options," and then click on "Forget this Device."

3. Click "OK" to remove the Zune device.
